The mystery was only okay - I figured it out about halfway through, and the main character is pretty unlikable and apparently not a super great detective. I liked several of the secondary characters though, and there were portions that left me hanging that make me want to read more from this series. Overall, I didn't *love* it, but it wasn't terrible.
