When I was in elementary school and I got grounded, I snuck into my sister's room and stole this manga to read. This series singlehandedly taught me what depression was before forcing me to expel it from my brain as a viable way to live.

So to say this series is important to be doesn't quite cover it. It impacted my life significantly. There was a lot of things in this book that I glossed over because I wasn't old enough to comprehend the story.

I wasn't originally going to buy it on Kindle but I needed closure to see what this series was about from adult eyes.
