Paper Towns is actually my second favourite John Green book. I absolutely loved Looking for Alaska (changed my mind a bit about it just recently). I love the friendship in this book and the mini midnight adventure Q had with Margo. Sure, he was too obsessed with her and he saw her as this 'other-worldly' girl, then expected too much from her when in reality she's nothing like that. Also, Q was such a bore around his friends. He was just like Margo Margo Margo Margo I luv Margo lets marGO find her. Then there's Margo. She was a misunderstood manic pixie dream girl (exactly like Alaska). I can't really judge her because like her, I do hate people too and wants to get away from everyone. But unlike her, I would never run away from home without telling anyone and leave dramatic revenge messages on my enemies' house / car because 1. I'm not petty. 2. I don't care enough to do that. 3. That's just a lot of effort to go around town just for revenge. 4. I need my good night sleep.

Sure it might be a little problematic but 2012 me loved and devoured this.
