I liked this one, but I didn't love it. I found it a little hard to get into. I appreciated the normalizing of pronouns, but that combined with names for all the characters at the beginning had me a little bogged down. I also felt like I didn't get a lot of feel for the humans right away. Once they started actually doing missions, I felt more pulled into the story. I still think there are a few humans I don't know a lot about, and I did feel like I barely got to know some of the aliens. The plot is interesting and I look forward to a sequel.
