It was good, but it was no Hating Game. (My new metric for books, basically.) I was super confused by how this one opened and it took me a while to get into a groove with the characters (although I’m not sure I ever really did) and the chemistry/dynamic between these two just felt weird and it didn’t have that spark I hoped it would. The moral of the story: read The Hating Game.
