I have enjoyed both books in this series I've read to date, and A Sprinkle of Sorcery is my favourite of the two. Like A Pinch of Magic, it had a bit of a slow start and took a while to really grip me, but I found it much more atmospheric than book 1.  The plot was intriguing and had something of the feel of a dark fairytale, but it never crossed the line into grim and it was tense rather than creepy or scary. 

I'm glad I read this and I will be picking up book 3.
