I guess I thought this book would have more adventures in it. I think I finally realized it was only going to be about her first adventure to Vystrana when I reached page 200 or so.... >_> Either way, I didn't mind because it was a great and inventive book where the world is a lot like ours, but with dragons, obviously. I dunno, nothing about this book made me LOVE it, and if it wasn't fiction or about dragons, I probably wouldn't have finished it (she does tend to prattle on like a non-fiction book, which plays more into this book's disguise as an actual non-fiction memoir). See some previous reviews about my dislike for non-fiction. Maybe I've been reading too much YA fiction lately and crave immediate action and suspense and fluff. This does eventually become pretty intriguing as they try to solve the mystery of the local rock-wyrm behavior. So yeah, that's my review! It reads like a non-fiction book with just enough of dragons to keep a fiction reader like me interested.
