I wanted this to be so much more than it was. Even 1/4 of the way through I was losing interest and had to skim parts. I loved the concept and the writing is interesting but it reads so slowly and I do not care about this investigation through a One Direction lens. I was hoping for discussion on fangirls in general/a lot of different fandoms. I understand that focusing on one fandom makes for a tighter and easier investigation, but it made me stop caring :-/ Maybe this would be better on audiobook instead of a physical book?
