I wish you could give half ratings on here... I would give it 3.5 as I did really enjoy the book and found it a speedy read. There were bits where I ALMOST cried, but there was something lacking for me. I am an out and out cry baby but this one just didn’t take me there. The whole story, for me didn’t quite itch the scratch, but I find it hard to put my finger on what exactly it was missing. It’s such a shame as there were aspects I absolutely adored and the twist was excellent. Perhaps it was just a bit rushed. Still very much a worthwhile read and one I’m glad to have on my shelf.
