Okay, thoughts. Not very many since I took too long to write this, but the main issue I had:

For some reason, it didn't even feel like it related to the first book - I dunno if it’s the style or something, but it read like a side story from TMI instead of a Malec story.

I didn't hate this book, but I didn't love it either.

You know what this book made me want? More Clary and Jace 😂 I loved Malec as a couple in the other series, but in their own series now, it just doesn’t fit as well. It feels different.

The little short story at the end: EVERY FUCKING TIME WILL IS MENTIONED I START CRYING. EVERY TIME.
