I was intrigued by some of the twists and turns and the conflict between Dr. Psychic and Dr. Occult. You can see where both of them are coming from as it relates to the fated evil student. 

such a fun subversion. This whole book is about Zantana, so you just assume she's the malevolence because that's how these stories go. But it's not who you think it is, and I enjoyed that fact.
