This book. THIS BOOK. At the end I teared up, in public, at the beach. I never cry for books if I can prevent it. I suck it down and ignore the urge. But not this time and it didn't happen to me since Harry Potter or something.
This book was so emotional and it talked to me so much it almost scared me. I don't know why but lot of Ari's feelings resemble some of my thoughts sometimes. I guess we all have a bit of hate towards ourselves, a bit of shame and ideas about who we are that not always resemble the way people actually see us. I guess I'm a bit like Ari and a bit like Dante too and that's exactly why I could feel so much through this story. I didn't need to force myself to emphatize with the characters,they were a part of me from page one.
This book is definitely one of my favorites of all time. I'm going to buy a physical copy of it and I will read this again because I already miss all those characters. I feel sad right now, I really do. It's like I lost a part of me when I finished the story. God I'm so emotional right now.
