The book does a lot right, but also just bugs me at times. Like the story idea is fine, but the way we go from regular lives to absurdity is just a bit too much. And the halfway cut in the book with the short stories was a bit confusing. Just a tad too many short stories as well. I feel they weren't necessary as the stage had already been set.
