Something to Talk About by Dakota Cassidy

When Emmaline is mentioned in the first book at no point did I think she was going to be a key character in this series. I thought she'd just be another secondary character like the help no one pays much attention to. In the second book we met Em and learned she was a conservative, bible quoting, true southern woman who was going through a scandalous divorce and taking all the blame for her ex's wrong doings and choices. Because she didn't want HIS family name tainted or her son's to think ill of their father. She was also petty and spineless taking small jabs kicking poor Dixie while she was down but lacking the balls to stand up to those who out right challenged her.

So yeah I was not a fan of Miss. Em So I definitely was not expecting to fall in love with her. I sure has hell did not expect her to be a freak in the sheets.

Her book by far has been the HOTTEST of the series. I had thought since she had two boys and her hero had a daughter it would be a family romance. Instead it was a not strings attached sexothon!!! And I loved every minute of it.

Jax Hawthorne is a completely different breed. He's BIG, Dark, and tells it like it is. He comes from a family suffering from loss, dark pasts, and sexy men. I was instantly curious about Jax's past and his relationship with the mother of his child. He is the worlds must amazing dad. In an overprotective probably not healthy kind of way. And it didn't take long for me to want to be a meat in a Hawthorne sandwich.

This is a fun quick read. Very hot and tugs at your heart strings.
