Your Forever Love
by Layla Hagen
similar to the first two in this companion series this follows a bennett sibling (in this book pippa) who find their partner.
also similar in all three books:
- the extreme insta-love
- the back and forth of not wanting to date and doing it anyways but calling it something else
- the men being very cavemen-ish with “mine! woman mine now!” behavior
- a big fight of some kind before the happy end (it’s not a spoiler people we all know how this type of book ends!)
so if you enjoy that formula and the writing style of the author?
great this will be a fun read for you!
if you need something new or at least a different formula for each book in a companion series such as this?
not the series or book for you!
i enjoy the authors writing, spastically her sassy characters and how independent the women are but still very firmly female and enjoy things that are specified as girly and doing so without shame or being shamed by others. so i love that in her books.
it’s sadly rather rare to read about career women that also enjoy family.
i also enjoyed in this book that eric (the main guy) has a daughter and she isn’t forgotten at any point in this book.
and she is a big part of his life and influence his choices and i enjoyed that and thought it was very well done!
all in all it’s not a ground breaking “best ever” kind of book but it was fun and a super fast read and i enjoyed every second of it!
