Becoming Muhammad Ali
by Kwame Alexander, James Patterson
Kwame Alexander’s poetry never disappoints - his words and rhythms embody Cassius Clay before he became Muhammad Ali. This is the first James Patterson book I have read to completion. His chapters were the viewpoint of Lucius “Lucky” Wakely. While this book is fiction, the Ali Estate allowed access and authorized this spin on his beginnings and rise to stardom.
