I know it’s only book 1, but I don’t get the hype! Feyre is kidnapped by a Fae, Tamlin, who brings her back to his world. She has always feared the Fae, but soon falls in love with her captor because he’s hot and buys her canvases and paint? He then sends her back home to the mortal world keep her safe from the curse happening in the fae world but she “loves him” and ventures back into the fae world to try to rescue him. The first part of this book was very lackluster and I was so confused about the plot. The ending was slightly redeeming but not necessarily satisfying (I know it’s a series and not the true end). The only characters I liked were Lucien and Amarantha…Nesta was alright too. Will probably continue the series when the books become available on Libby. Not sure this will live up to my love of Throne of Glass though!
