I'm not rating this story with stars since I didn't actually finish it. I wanted to get into it, but the characters and setting just didn't draw me enough to keep me engaged. I've heard good things about Lili Valente and liked the premise for this story. Perhaps, this was just not the right book to start my Lili Valente reading adventure.
