EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!

Just want everyone who sees this to know that Chanel Miller is an exquisite writer. Despite the subject of the book (sexual assault, rape, the shitty justice system) there is a rare beauty in the way Chanel narrates what happened to her. And then you being to understand the impact on survivors (time and energy and more and more and more) that goes beyond 'a single incident'.

When I read her statement back in 2016 and heard what had happened to her - it really impacted me and my life and my way of thinking and this book is no different.

I can't wait to read whatever else she writes about - she could write about crisp packets and I would read it.
