Give me a minute here, I need to rant.

Books one and two in this series are honestly so good, not perfect by any means but 4 - 4,5 stars.

HOWEVER, this third and final book is a train wreck, to say the least. 2 stars out of five is GENEROUS. I have a few reasons for this judgement.

- The whole story revolves around a miscommunication between the main characters. Okay sure, sometimes we misunderstand each other and situations, but this miscommunication leads to a 11 year long drift and they don’t trust each other because of this miscommunication. Definitely one of my least favorite tropes!

- They go from almost enemies to friends to lovers in such a short time, even though they don’t trust each other for shit in the first half.

- Brendan (the brother and main character in book two) is SO annoying. Stop mf meddling! He butts his ass into everything, and is PROUD of it!! Okay I get setting your friends up with someone, with their permission. However, setting up some stranger you’ve known for like 2 weeks??

- The whole Ski scene drove me mad. Okay so they are in some unknown territory where they haven’t defined what they are to each other and that is confusing. But the possessiveness between them is infuriating.

Overall, a huge letdown. What the fuck.
