Yeah no rating from me. I remember loving this book in middle school which is why I got nostalgic and decided to re-read but holy hell was this cringey AF. The fake AAVE, the white bit with dreads, the pain in the ass main character. I just...whew no thanks. The best thing about this was I got to cackle at the cringe this time around and I read it in under 4 hours.
