Death at Dawn
by Sue Jaskula, Sue Jaskula
Emma is enjoying the newlywed life when tragedy strikes and the punches just keep on coming for her. Her brother, Sam, is struggling to just survive and dealing with an addiction. Emma wants to help her brother, but also can’t keep enabling his decisions and these two both make some not so smart decisions at times.
I loved the suspense aspect of this story. I was completely sucked into who the murderer was and why. I definitely had some theories throughout the book, but couldn’t figure out how everything was completely connected at times. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down because I needed to know who was behind everything.
I loved getting the story from Emma and Sam’s POVs and each of them really had their own story line that slowly come together as the mystery unravels.
If you’re looking for a small town, romantic suspense check this one out.
