This represents book 34 of the Revenge of the Sisterhood series. What’s nice about this book is if you have stepped away from this series for a while you come back and it’s just like coming home. You have the characters you know and love such as Jack and Myrna. the truck driver, everybody else, plus the lovable dog that always knows the right thing to do. Nikki and Jacqui been hard-working lawyers as well as their side work with the sisterhood, but they decided it’s time to get away and take a little break. Too bad that work goes with him in the form of a car bomb. An injury takes place and the sisterhood is out for revenge. Overall, this book with a nice comfort red. However, a lot of this story was the buildup. The revenge part is lackluster and kind of softer then was seen in the first books. I don’t know if the softer story is because of something that happened in earlier books or because the author is rethinking the way revenge has to work. The audiobook is great because Mona feels like Mona. She feels like an older lady not some fresh young teenager.
