On The Honey Side
by Staci Hart
I loved the first book in this series, For Love Or Honey, and so I was excited to read this next one! Getting Daisy’s story was a good one. She had the same kind of things she’d lost out on in her background as Keaton, in a way, so who better to understand him and make the perfect couple!
Their families, his brothers and niece, her mother and sisters, were all about setting up times for the two of them to be together alone and hopefully figure out that they were perfect for each other. A few times though, Keaton still pushed her away and I wanted to smack him. But it was nice to see he even was mad at himself afterwards and when he finally let her in and let his feelings come out, it sure did get steamy!
The town has a lot of characters and settings that play such a big part in all of these stories and it’s a perfect way to round out the plot. I enjoyed getting time with these people we’d met before, as well as how they also seemed to be pushing the two together. Except those villainous characters who made the big roadblocks pop up.
I also really liked the way that Daisy and Keaton and their families and friends chose to try to help with the homeless situation. It is something that I’ve thought would be a great way to help when I’ve thought or discussed the real-life problem these days with my own family and friends
Another wonderful trip to a wonderful town that I adore getting to spend time in!
