Wow this second book was awesome! Binti is quickly becoming a favorite character of mine. So well written, and I love how she is conflicted on what she wants in life. Sometimes wanting the normal and easy route, but understanding she wants to grow and be more. Again in this book social issues stay subtle, and it is interesting to see some that are judged for what is deemed a lesser people also doing judging on others they deem lesser. That commentary is so well injected in to the story, as I said in my review of the first book. I'm eager to begin the final part in the trilogy. So much so that I bought it halfway through writing this. 4.5 out of 5
