This book was the perfect combination of heart-pounding fear and dread and suspicion along with a deep creep layer, a feeling of eyes on the back on your head and the hairs raising on your arms. I will admit to looking behind my shoulder once or twice while listening to it home alone. This story is not at all what I was expecting and it goes places that will shock the reader. I really liked the MC and how she was determined to try and see the best in the people, while not being easily drawn into the gaslighting that she was being subjected to around her.

I listened to the audiobook and highly recommend it for that extra notch of arm-tingling sensation that will surely make this and even better reading experience!
