This is a short read origin story about how Jenna became Black Rock Falls most loved sheriff. I didn’t enjoy this as much as I enjoyed Dave’s origin story. I found this one moved on a bit quicker and it felt like we didn’t really get much of the case that sent her into hiding. It seemed to be wrapped up very quickly and with little drama. That being said it gave a good insight into Jenna and why she is so dedicated to rescuing abused partners. Definitely worth reading if you enjoy the Kane & Alton series.
