Fraternize

Read and listened to this one.
This is a second-chance-kinda-triangle-sports book that was little bit different.
I liked that our heroine that all the guys are loving on is a larger, beautiful girl. But I did feel that her being a bigger girl was reiterate too much. We got it early in the piece and it wasn't until probably half way through that it stopped being told all the time - but this could be just me.
I was a bit conflicted though - not with the story, but with which guy I wanted Emerson to be with. I loved/hated the history between Miller and Em, but also the spark between Sanchez and Em.
And after finishing, I am still not sure if I am happy with the ending! I might need to stew on that a little longer.
Now, with the audio. It really took me a while to warm up to the female narrator. Her voice to me just felt a little bland and emotionless, and sometimes sounded like the kindle text to talk narrator. But again, this is probably just me!
I do have the second book in this series waiting for me on my kindle (thank you Netgalley) so will have to jump in soon
