This book is well written, interesting and the character/plot felt authentic. But, it also ultimately felt boring. Perhaps it's because I was in the foster system and I'm disillusioned with any idea of the justice system being a force for true good, but I just felt like the story didn't offer anything new to me. I didn't feel challenged as a reader, but I think others likely will be.
