Black Mad Wheel

This book is horrible! Can't believe it was written by the same author as Bird Box. The premises is intriguing and that's was catch my attention, but then nothing happen. The book is stretch to the limit, and even beyond the limit, so far that it break itself apart. This could have been a short story at best. The characters are also pale and blank and just have no soul at all. The ending, I kept going hoping to get surprise at the end, was not good either. There is just to much non sense everywhere (the nurse falling in love after a week watching a half comatose guy... if the gender where the other way around this would have been declare creepy as f***, the army sending a band to investigate a crazy «weapon», yeah because the weapon does a sound, and when you investigate a sound, you send a band, that's well know, not sound engineer, no audiologist, no neurologist, not scientist of any kind... nope four dudes who play music, and so on). Finally, this is very poorly written, it has some moment, but overall very poorly written, this could have been indi/self publish stuff and I would have still be bother by it, but for professional publish/written, seriously... something didn't work here. Well I think this is quite clear I was disappointed. Wouldn't recommend it. I still highly recommend Bird Box, and will read the sequel, coming this year, for sure, but this one didn't do it for me!
