I don’t even know how many times I’ve read this book now. It means so much to me and I glean something new from it every time. I yearn for the pink house. I envy the Daughters of Mary and the way they believe so wholeheartedly in something. I relate wildly to Lily in ways that have nothing to do with my parents and to May who is so entrapped by all the hurt in the world. I love this book so much.
