A book that no one asked for. From the perspective of a destitute writer in Kristiana (now Oslo) at the turn of the century. He wanders the city aimlessly and achieving nothing. You get the privelidge of witnessing his descent into madness and illness as his fortunes deteriorate and improve in a constant cycle.
Surprisingly quick to read and with very few dull sections for such a mundane topic.
