I definitely thought I had reviewed this but I somehow didn't! Ah! This little graphic novel was /amazing/. The art was wonderful and colorful, the storyline was easy to follow and exciting, and the powers were super cool! I loved her foster family--the dad was my favorite (that hair tho). He was so chill and funny and I loved the way he connected with Ashley. The mother was also really cool, and I loved her different way of showing her love for Ashley. I felt like the two parents showed a lot about communication and the ways different people love. It was just really pure and wholesome and special.
Plus, gotta love some super-hero-style butt kicking! Definitely recommend for anyone who loves comics and graphic novels, and/or superheroes and found families. It's a special little story that deserves all the love.
