Arturo works in a heart-mending workshop. People send him their broken hearts, and he repairs and heals them. One heart is so damaged that only time and compassion can heal it.

I liked the concept of this book so much. Such a cute idea about a workshop for healing broken hearts! And I loved the way that Arturo repairs the hearts in all kinds of different ways, melting cold hearts, and lightening heavy hearts, and replacing old burnt-out lights in a darkened heart. It's very touching and sweet. However, the text could use a copy editor to correct some of the grammar and punctuation.

The illustrations are not that great. They are just computer-generated blobs with little personality or artistic style.

Overall, this is a cute little book. I liked it okay.
