I did enjoy this book a bit more than the other one I read by this author (even though I have a few others in my TBR file) possibly because of the action that was in it. The pacing was good and I will admit that I did not see the end coming even though I thought I had it all figured out. The only thing that got under my skin was the language of the narrator -- it was almost like trying too hard to sound like a male and an alpha one at that and that got a bit tiresome after awhile. Overall though a good book and I may end up picking up more in the series. ^_^
