It is hard to tell from the cover of Choker what is contained between the covers. Cara has always felt isolated and alone. Once upon a time she had a best friend, Zoe. She has been out of the picture since Cara’s parents moved the family away. Cara may not like the popular girls in school, but that does not mean she takes pleasures in their deaths and disappearances. With Zoe back in the picture, things are starting to look up, but what if they are next? This story keeps the reader engrossed. The who-done-it plot moves along and whether you figure out the bad guy at the beginning or don’t know until the end, you will enjoy the trip getting there.
