Dialoge mit mir selbst 1
by Nagata Kabi
dark
emotional
reflective
sad
medium-paced
I didn’t expect this one to hit this hard. Had I a) been aware that this is the same author as “my lesbian experience with loneliness” and b) read said story, I would’ve been prepared. Instead, I was a little overwhelmed sometimes and couldn’t read it as fast as I usually do with manga. It was great, though. The author still talks about loneliness and about how she thinks she can fix her own. I think because of her honesty, this story can help cure the loneliness of her readers. – At least I could relate to some of the aspects she talks about and felt very seen in those. This book left me feeling a little torn between sadness and a weird type of hope. Idk.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Mental illness
Moderate: Suicide attempt
