I used to read this back in the day (15 or so years ago?!) on Nakayoshi and I used to drool over the food illo. I vividly remember the chestnut pie and the montblanc. Re-reading it again now, it's honestly not bad at all, I love that the food and the recipe still feels fresh and creative to me even now. It does use the love triangle and the typical classism trope that is so prevalent in private academy setting lol but overall it's just still really good and an instant serotonin boost for me!
