Pause by Kylie Scott
5.0

I had to get this on audio as soon as it was available, couldn’t wait for the ebook. And I wasn’t disappointed a bit. For the audiobook we had the wonderful Andi Arndt narrating. The story itself was so good as well. It took me a minute to remember who Leif was from Repeat, but once I did, then I really got into the story even more. There was a fun bit about Twilight, and I really love how basically the book/story/movie whatever was being defended. In a way, Anna was lucky I think for what happened. Because her ex was a piece of work. And her best friend? Wow, not a friend at all in my book. For the most part this wasn’t as angsty as a lot of Scott’s stories can be, but it was sweet and had its own drama in the right and perfect way. There was a little bit of a mystery left there about the accident itself, and when we got a little more with that at the end of the book, it was a perfect way to ramp up the drama and give us more reasons to be rooting for Anna and Leif.

Yet another book by Kylie Scott that I loved and can highly recommend! While the long haired guy on the cover isn’t really my type of guy from his looks, Leif definitely is, and if only I could meet someone like him.
