As excited as I was to get a copy of this I was a tiny bit nervous because I loved the Chestnut Springs series soooo much. My expectations were set so high and I should never have been nervous for a second because I loved this one! I loved being in the new world Elsie is creating and I especially loved the cameo from Willa. Her and Cade are my fave and if you’ve read their book you get it. If not go read it. Anyway, Rosie and Ford were adorable, sexy, flirty and absolutely perfect for each other. This one was a slow burn with plenty of delicious and hilarious banter leading up to them finally banging and the wait was worth it, Elsie writes some of my favorite smutty scenes 🥵 Besides Ford and Rosie I also adored her brother, and Ford’s daughter, Cora and basically every secondary character with one exception 😉 If you like single dad, small town, billionaire, workplace, brothers best friend and the best banter this is a must. If you’re an audio fan this was a top tier listen, Zachary Webber as Ford made me sweat and Vanessa Edwin as Rosie was total perfection. She embodied her personality and emotions so well and their performances were both truly magical.
