I had heard good things about this author, and I was able to get a copy at a library book sale last year.

I think this author’s writing style just isn’t for me. The dialogue kept pulling me out of the story because it didn’t feel realistic to me. It could be because there was slang and pop culture references that were from several years ago. There were also some news articles included, and they honestly sounded fake. I know a lot of people love this book though, so it might still be worth reading.
