this was a hauntingly beautiful story about a very resilient girl and a horrendous mother during the early 1906-1910(? i can’t remember the exact date the story mentioned but around there).
the story was very well written, fast paced but without feeling rushed, dealing with a whole lot of big issues but doing so pretty well especially for a short story!
if you want something that sticks with you after reading , is emotional but not too much because it’s a short read? go for this!
