For all the over the top action in this book, I found myself incredibly bored. I wanted to like it, and I was excited to start, but the plot just never jived with me. It felt a little too jumbled and almost like it was trying to be so high intensity for the whole book that it wound up coming across as flat. The plot twist at the end was also meh for me. I just wound up forcing my way through it and being very disappointed.
