Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman
5.0

Well. Yeah. I was right. I cried. I really liked it. This book gives me such nostalgia for some reason. I don't know why but I could really resonate with Elio and everything in the book. I fell in love with Oliver...and had this feeling, all through reading the book, that I was missing, lusting something. It was just such a nostalgia, no book has ever made me felt. It really made me live the story in the mind of Elio and it was so interesting but crazy cause I thought exactly like he did.
I have seen the movie before like 4 times as it's one of my favorites, and can tell that it does the book justice. I would've preferred obviously that everything could make it to the movie but some can dream.
Anyway, I fell in love with this book as I read it, and highlighted quotes and things I laughed at, felt saddened by, thought were beautiful and poetic. It's been a... I don't know how to describe it other than other-wordly and magical for some reason. This book made me feel weird and new things I didn't know a book could make me feel, and I loved it.
I will forever hold this book dear and close to me.
