I am super glad that I found this series! I love Abby! She is beyond awesome. (And yes, I almost put an exclamation mark on this sentence as well. That is how excited I am about this book.) I loved how many different kinds of supernatural creatures were in this book. It is kind of like an adult Paranormalcy series, but kind of different. haha I know, that was really helpful, huh. But that's what it reminded me of. There is plenty of action, adventure, humor and magic to keep everyone flipping pages the whole way through. I could not put this book down!

Abby is snarky and totally awesome. I loved her quick wit and razor sharp tongue. She certainly meets a ton of interesting creatures. I mean what other story has a pet unicorn, who is so hilarious by the way, as well as fey, incubus, vampires, angels, werewolves, etc all within the same book? I love Ion! I will say that right now. I am all the way on team Ion, even if he is a doofus at the end of the book. Sure, he frustrated me at times but I can't help it, I just love the idea of him and Abby together. You can tell that he really cares for her. I will say that I was disappointed in him at the end of the book. I have not given up on him yet though!

This is an adult book so there are some pretty sexy scenes in the book. They fit in so well with the characters and the story line. I loved how they were worked into the story. I hope book 2 is the same way. The writing is excellent. The world just leaps off the page and I can picture everything so vividly. I fell in love with everyone and everything in this book. I think it is going to be one of my favorite adult series! If you are looking for a well written, funny and addictive series, give the Abby Sinclair stories a try. I am loving them!
