I don't mind big age gaps. But what irritated TF out of me is how Leigh James kept stressing that despite STILL being in high school, at 18, Audrina was in fact of age and could totally consent to an indecent proposal. Which legally she can. I get it.

Look, I don't care that she was 18. I felt like the constant stress of it was annoying. It was like a pop up ad/disclaimer before a Bang The Babysitter porno stressing that everyone is of age.

I feel like the author wanted us NOT to pass judgement. Which I am totally not. While I was TEAM JACOB, I was not mad at Edward for wanting Bella. And in this case I was there for the story. I forgot Audrina's age. Her age was not a factor for me so the constant mention was a buzz kill.
