This is such a sweet and swoon worthy, snarky slow burn that has the perfect balance of romance, drama and a cast of main and secondary characters that keep the plot very interesting and engaging.

Cam boy Sam may look femme and sparkly but he has great inner strength and can be fierce when required. Trip is a big, cowboy teddy bear with a heart of gold and loves his ranching life - including the Houdini like stallion and the grumpy goose!

Circumstances bring Sam and Trip together and their friendship develops quickly and deeply. Sam can’t help but crush on Trip who really is a bit oblivious until it’s pointed out to him by an employee. So begins his bi-awakening journey, which he fully embraces, and the steamy times begin in earnest turning the heat level up to scorching.

The sweet and swoon is balanced with some angst and drama as Sam’s past with his family comes back into his life. The romance itself between these two wonderful characters is not tarnished by any miscommunications or other crisis , it just bubbles along nicely alongside the dramatic moments.

I laughed and smiled throughout the book and really look forward to the side characters who work at Rebel Sky Ranch having their stories told.
