They All Fall Down
by Rachel Howzell Hall
2.5 I wanted to love this, but it fell a little flat for me. There were some things I loved and some things that I could have done without
Positives:
Representation of different races and ethnicities
The twist was fun (though predictable)
Negatives:
Characters weren’t introduced well. It was difficult to keep track of who was who because their introductions were lacking.
Hated the audiobook (do not recommend)
I felt like each element of this book was great but it just didn’t fit together cohesively. It was a bit all over the place and that’s where this book truly fell flat for me
I have not read the book by Agatha Christie that this is based off of, so I can’t compare it. However, I wouldn’t critic this book any differently had I read it as this book is a book of its own. I will check out more from this author, but unfortunately this one was not for me.
