I loved Medea and while I disagreed with the choices she made, it certainly made for a very satisfying victim to villain to victor arc. After more than 2 decades of following someone else's path and plans for her, she finally breaks free to seek her own path and glory.
I think the jumps in time were effective but I would have loved to see what happened in the last 5 years prior to her becoming queen of colchis.
