I guess that this book didn’t speak to me as it has to many others; it reminded me very much of having to read Carlos Castaneda in university philosophy class.

The main character is never named, or if he was I missed it...just the boy or the shepherd. I think that too much of this is left up to the reader to interpret and take into themselves.

Not really my cup of tea.
